Interest Groups
Good food combined with friendship gives you a chance to get to know other members better. We would be happy to welcome new members.
Normally meets on the first Friday of the month in members’ homes.
If you enjoy a diversity of tastes, this is the group for you. No obligation to sign up for each month's outing, the choice
is yours.
Meets for lunch in a restaurant each month, normally the last Tuesday of the month, and members may choose which luncheons to attend.
Books are chosen by members. Join us for light refreshments and engaging discussion.
Meets once a month on a Friday afternoon, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., in members’ homes, with Zoom meetings in January and February.
Books to discuss are chosen and led by members. Come out and join us for a lively discussion.
Meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Will meet via Zoom in January, February and March.
Join us for a hike of about two hours, discovering different trails in the Toronto vicinity.
Walks take place on the fourth Sunday of each month, normally meeting at
2 p.m.
Theatre Group
Members attend an interesting fare of performances about six times during the Club year. Once you commit to attending, you are responsible for the price of your ticket.
Movie Club
Members watch a selected movie at home (on a streaming platform such as Netflix) and then meet on a weekday evening to discuss the movie via Zoom.
Members bring a "Bag Lunch," and the Hostess provides tea and coffee. Twelve hands of bridge are played. Substitutes are frequently needed.
Meets on the third Thursday of each month; the group currently has eight players and two spares, and new spares would be appreciated.
Join to improve your game. We will be using bidding boxes and using the duplicate style for playing the hands. We will hope to get in a minimum of twelve hands, if not sixteen.
Meets on Mondays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Mixed Bridge
We meet on the first Friday or Saturday evening of the month. We have dessert and coffee followed by 16 hands of bridge.
Meets virtually at 7:30 p.m.
“Mixed” refers to members and husbands or male partners. We welcome any new interested players, including substitutes.
